Wandering The Holiday Markets

Winter has hit the City! The temperatures are low, the coats are huge and most importantly the markets are open! One of my favorite parts of winter in NYC has to be the Holiday Markets at: Columbus Circle, Bryant Park and Union Square. If you are looking for ANYTHING from a scarf, to toys, one of a kind paintings, to handmade jewelry. I have walked around a couple of times since they’ve been open and always find a new spot I hadn’t seen before. It’s certainly a great place to find holiday gifts and ideas for anyone.

A couple of nice and affordable jewelry designers that are there this year:

Diament Designs

They’ve been established on Etsy with a huge array of designs, they have a simplistic esthetic with a hint of vintage. Their products are mostly handmade with great quality materials.

Barbara Wilkinson

Another Etsy designer in the Holiday Markets has a great offering of trendy, feminine designs. Her esthetic is a nice take on modern and etherial, using combinations of semiprecious stones and cute inspirational words and phrases in her designs.

Like I said, every time I walk around these markets I find a new spot, and I’m sure this will keep happening. Will make sure to share the best finds. Which have been your favorite shops in the Holiday Markets so far?
