As 3D printing becomes “mainstream” (at least in NYC), it was only a matter of time that creative minds and artists would use the technology as a way to bring their creations to life.
Ebony Fleur, is a New York based jewelry designer, who has made 3D printing an extension of her portfolio. Her designs are very innovative and architectural but prices pair up with fine jewelry. The statement pieces are created through software that brings the sketches to life on the 3D printer, they vary in color size, and are inspired by the shapes found in natural minerals. I say it’s a futuristic take on art deco jewels. So far Ebony Fleur has the Cord Collection (left) and the Reverie (right) collection.
